Preach the Gospel. Make Disciples.

Be the hands and feet of Christ.

Who is this for?

I pray that the content here can benefit anyone who comes across it, but ultimately this blog is for women who are Christian, questioning their faith, and not Christian.

Women who simply want to live wholeheartedly devoted to Christ wherever they are. Women who are tired of the bondage that is back-breaking, man-made rules of American evangelicalism and the unstable world-made ones. Women who want deep, robust theology and application in their life. Women who have questions about faith and deep wounds inflicted by those who profess(ed) to be Christians. Women who want and need to talk about the explicit, the complex, the taboo that no one dare go in depth about.

This is for women who want to truly be holistically healthy Christians who are free from bondage and free in Christ!

Blog Bio

A 2 month Facebook hiatus birthed this blog. I reached my breaking point with the destruction American Evangelicalism was causing to Christians and non-Christians alike. Infuriated, I couldn’t take seeing and hearing of the suffering and bondage of image bearers anymore and had to do something. I must speak louder than before.

Here you will find posts about the Bible and Jesus; (Church) trauma/abuse and therapy; sex and sexuality; self-care and self-love, practical tools/skills for emotional health and wellness; dating suggestions, encouragements, warnings, and experiences; thriving in Christ as a single Christian woman; cultivating healthy relationships and boundaries with family & friends; abortion, contraception, and pro-life ministry; patriarchy, feminism, and submission; and lgbt+, social justice, and more.

Are you ready to be equipped to engage the Church and the World about these things?

Who am I?

A bold, loving, and passionate Black Christian woman who has been redeemed, renewed, and reconciled to her heavenly Father by the blood of Jesus and born again by Holy Spirit.

There is so much I could say. Seriously. My testimony is pretty radical, but truly, any salvation story is radical. Being brought from death and darkness to life and light in Christ is the most amazing gift anyone could be graciously given by God.

I’m a Tar Heel native who moved to Atlanta in 2006 to attend Georgia State University. Becoming an OB/Gyn was my dream, but God had other plans. Praise Him for that! I’m currently a career nanny with a degree in Sociology and a huge heart for people: born AND preborn.

Bible study, evangelism, advocacy, working out, staying connected to family & friends, reading, baking, and writing are a few of my favorite things in life.
